Giorgio Armani is to design actor Katie Holmes' dress for her upcoming wedding to Tom Cruise in Italy, sometime next month.
The couple, engaged since June 17, 2004 and having a six month old daughter, sought Giorgio Armani's design for Katie's official wedding attire, Rod Manley, Director of Public Relations and Media Planning for Armani confirmed in media.
Armani has designed five different outfits for Holmes - "something sheer and floaty" to wear for her nuptials and also for various events taking place on the wedding weekend, according to sources.
