Iconix Brand Group Inc announced an exclusive retail direct license agreement for its London Fog brand with Hudson's Bay Company ("HBC"), one of the largest and most established retailers in Canada.

HBC has entered into a multi-year license to manufacture and distribute London Fog apparel, accessories and lifestyle products through a two-tiered strategy in its retail stores, the Bay and Zellers.

The Bay, with 98 locations across Canada, will carry London Fog and Zellers, with 283 locations, will carry a London Fog diffusion line.

Neil Cole, Chairman and CEO of Iconix, stated, "We are very pleased to partner with HBC, one of the leading and most respected retailers in Canada to build our London Fog brand."

"Retail direct agreements are an exceptionally powerful and effective way to build lifestyle brands, particularly with an ideal partner such as HBC."

Mark Kinnin, Vice President of Total Brand Management, HBC, said, "London Fog outerwear has incredibly strong brand awareness in Canada and we look forward to continuing to develop London Fog into a lifestyle brand for our customers by rolling out multiple categories as part of a long-term strategy."

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Iconix on an exclusive basis and are confident that our customers will embrace the London Fog lifestyle."

In the United States, leading outerwear maker Herman Kay holds the London Fog license for men's and women's outerwear and Amerex (USA) Inc holds the license for children's outerwear.
