American Eagle Outfitters announced the launch of its first signature fragrances. American Eagle REAL is available for men and women, and evokes the confident, open-minded spirit of the brand and its customers.
The fragrances were created to be casual, versatile and comfortable, much like the perfect pair of jeans. American Eagle REAL is subtle enough to wear to work or school, and at the same time intriguing and sensual for a date or night out.
"American Eagle REAL is another way for the AE girl and guy to experience our brand," said LeAnn Nealz, American Eagle Outfitters' executive vice president and chief design officer. "Everything about it-from the scent to the bottle design-reflects the true soul of AE, which is authentic, original and laidback."
In development for the past year, American Eagle REAL was created in collaboration with a leading independent fragrance consultant and is produced by two of the leading fragrance houses in the country.
American Eagle REAL For Her is offered in a 1.7 fluid ounce eau de toilette for $34.50, as well as a roller-ball vial for $12.50. The scent features top notes of pink grapefruit, pomegranate and mandarin, mid-notes in blossoms of water lotus, muget, and orange flower petal, and dry down-notes of creamy patchouli, white birch wood and soft sandalwood.
American Eagle REAL For Him comes in 1.7 fluid ounce cologne for $34.50, as well as a body spray option for $8.50. The scent is masculine and clean with citrus and cardamom for a cool aromatic effect. There are mid-notes of fir balsam, rosewood, and jasmine for a woody, modern feel, and dry down-notes of vetiver, tonka bean, amber and patchouli.
