Walking Princeton store to offer dress shoes, sandals, clogs & boots

The Walking Company Inc announced its new store in Princeton, New Jersey will open its doors on Friday, December 15.The new 1,300 square-foot location will feature the latest styles and designs from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO, Mephisto and Dansko.
The Walking Company also offers a wide selection of comfort footwear from hard-to-find quality brands from around the world such as Pikolinos and Beautifeel. The store will offer a comprehensive selection for every walk of life, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active.
The Walking Company currently has New Jersey locations in Short Hills, Cherry Hill, Paramus, Freehold and the recently opened store on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.
"This is the third store we have opened in New Jersey during the past three months," said Lee Cox, senior vice president of retail at The Walking Company. "Our new locations in Atlantic City and Freehold have received a tremendous response when they opened. The Princeton area is very special and we are anticipating the same response for this store."
Located in the heart of downtown Princeton N.J., Palmer Square is a stylish outdoor collection of shops, restaurants, offices and residences surrounding the Town Green and the historic Nassau Inn. Hours of operation for the Princeton store are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; and Sunday 12 noon-5:00 p.m.
"The Walking Company fills a lifestyle shoe category that we do not currently have on the Square," said David Newton, vice president of Palmer Square Management. "They will certainly complement our existing tenant mix. Furthermore, we feel their company philosophy will be a welcome addition to the community."
