Signature shoe for Nike basketball to be available on Dec 26

Nike is celebrating the 25th year anniversary of the Air Force 1 performance basketball shoe in a variety of ways including the launch of the new Air Force 25 (AF25).
This signature shoe for Nike basketball will be available at retail nationally beginning December 26, 2006.
Based on the original Air Force 1, this modern, sophisticated product evokes the heritage of the Force franchise and Nike Air technology.
Twenty-five years of basketball knowledge, history and player insights are built into the shoe. Nike designer Tracy Teague utilized that deep well of information -- coupled with current technologic advancements in performance footwear -- to craft the innovative AF25.
The shoe's clear outsole reveals full length Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot combined with Max Air heel cushioning.
"Growing up I followed the history of the Air Force 1 and looked up to players that wore the AF1 on court," said Indiana Pacers Center/Forward Jermaine O'Neal. "The new Air Force 25 has its roots in the past, but mixes in some new innovations for the future of the game."
