Nordstrom Rack store at Southcenter Square in fall 2007

Nordstrom Inc announced it will open a 35,000 square foot Nordstrom Rack store at Southcenter Square in fall 2007. The Nordstrom Rack is the company's off-price retail division offering a wide selection of quality brand name apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at savings of 30-75% off original prices.
The merchandise is transferred from Nordstrom Full-Line stores and Nordstrom.com, in addition to special purchase items. The location at Southcenter Square will be the sixth Nordstrom Rack store in Washington state.
"We're excited to add an additional Nordstrom Rack location for our customers who live in the greater Seattle area," said Scott Meden, president of Nordstrom Rack.
"Customers have been responding well to our merchandise from Nordstrom Full-Line stores and website as well as our increased selection of special purchase product from today's hottest brands. We look forward to offering this merchandise at significant savings to our customers in a new location."

Southcenter Square is a 231,000 square foot center with over 925 parking spaces. Located on Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila, this center offers a convenient location within minutes of Southcenter Mall.
Nordstrom Inc currently operates eight Full-Line stores in Washington in Downtown Seattle, Northgate Mall, Bellevue Square, Tacoma Mall, Southcenter Mall, Spokane, Vancouver Mall and Alderwood Mall. Nordstrom also operates five Nordstrom Rack Stores in Lynnwood, Downtown Seattle, Auburn, Bellevue and Spokane.
