Pacific Sunwear of California Inc reported that total sales for the five weeks of fiscal December ending December 30, 2006 were $250.5 million, an increase of 3.3 percent over total sales of $242.4 million during the same period last year.
Total Company same-store sales decreased 3.2 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 2.1 percent and demo same-store sales decreased 9.4 percent compared to the same five week period last year.
Total sales for the first 48 weeks of fiscal 2006 were $1,350.4 million, an increase of 2.6 percent over total sales of $1,316.2 million during the same period last year.
Total Company same-store sales decreased 4.5 percent during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales decreased 4.0 percent and demo same-store sales decreased 7.7 percent compared to the same 48 week period last year.
