Skateboard icon Hawk smoothly lands Kohl's footwear deal

Tony Hawk, skateboard icon, has entered into agreement with Kohl's Corp for selling footwear under his brand.

The fashion shoes and skate shoes exclusively for youngsters will be sold through Kohl's store and website.

It is difficult for kids to purchase costly skate shoes and will be affordable for them after displaying Hawk's brand online.

Actual design for brown, black, white and patterned footwear are provided by Kohl's.

Last year, Kohl's started carrying clothing line of Tony Hawk and company is planning to expand its offerings of the clothing line.

This fall, company plans to introduce clothing created by high-end designer Vera Wang.
