Primarily as a result of the lower than anticipated full-priced selling at Arden B and the need to clear remaining holiday product, the Company is lowering its fiscal fourth quarter guidance from its prior estimate.
The Company now estimates for its fiscal fourth quarter it will report operating income before the effect of non-cash stock compensation between $7.7 million and $8.7 million compared to a prior estimate of between $12.5 million and $14.8 million.
During the month, the Company opened 2 Wet Seal stores and closed 1 Arden B store. At February 3, 2007, there were 338 Wet Seal stores and 92 Arden B stores.
