Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation announced that Francois Delage will join the Company as President, Asia Pacific effective September 1, 2007. Mr. Delage will report to Scott Bowman, President of International Business Development.
Mr. Delage's extensive professional experience in the luxury industry including 16 year tenure within L.V.M.H., make him uniquely positioned to assume this new role. Most recently, Mr. Delage was President, Asia/Pacific for Louis Vuitton, based in Hong Kong, where over the last six years he was responsible for leading the brand efforts across 14 markets.
Prior to that Mr. Delage was General Manager in charge of L.V.M.H. fashion brands in Micronesia. In addition, Mr. Delage has held various key finance positions in France at Louis Vuitton, DaiNippon Ink and Chemicals and Walt Disney.
