David to lead Tarrant financial operations

Tarrant Apparel Group, a design and sourcing company for private label and private brands casual apparel, announced that it has appointed David N. Burke as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective subsequent to the filing of the Company's 2006 10K filing with the SEC.

Mr. Burke, who is currently the Company's Vice President – Finance, replaces Corazon Reyes who is retiring. Ms. Reyes will continue to work with the Company on special projects.

Prior to joining Tarrant Apparel, Mr. Burke was Vice President of Citibank from 2004 to 2006, where he focused on middle market companies in Southern California. Prior to joining Citibank, he was a Vice President from 2001 to 2003 at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where he started a unit based in Los Angeles to pursue financial services opportunities with upper middle market companies located in the western United States.

I would also like to thank Cora for the important role she has played at the Company since its inception. While I regret that she is retiring, I am confident that the transition will be seamless.”
