Jewelry house Mikimoto has created its distinctive style in pearl culturing. It enjoys unparalleled status in designing, producing and selling world's finest cultured pearl jewelry.
The company has roped in fashion designer Yojhi Yamamoto to create a 20-piece collection for it. The Paris based Japanese-born designer has carved a niche in the fashion world with his futuristic creations.
The 20 piece collection will officially make a debut at fashion week in Paris during July. The line will be available at all Yohji Yamamoto and Mikimoto stores in US, Europe and Asia by 2008.
