Gary includes COO to current title of President of Gerber Childrenswear

Gary F. Simmons has been named chief executive officer in addition to his current title of president of Gerber Childrenswear, according to W. Lee Capps III, Kellwood chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
"Gary has displayed outstanding leadership and direction since taking the helm of president in March 2005. He continues to develop strong, strategic partnerships within the industry to open new revenue opportunities and maximize bottom line results for the division."
"I look forward to our continued success with the brand's performance and its strong consumer acceptance in the marketplace," said Capps.
Simmons is a seasoned executive in the childrenswear market with over 30 years of experience.
Prior to Gerber Childrenswear, he served as president and chief executive officer of VF Playwear and held the post of president for Healthtex.
In addition to these posts, he held various management level positions within the childrenswear industry.
