Cosmoprof North America showcases Brazilian beauty industry

Brazil's beauty industry will be participating for the third consecutive year in Cosmoprof North America, featured in the Country Pavilions (Pavilion A). This year celebrates their third ranking position among the largest cosmetics consumer markets in the world.

Last year, contacts that were established as a result of over 350 visitors with business interests from countries such as the US, Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Costa Rica, Jamaica, South Korea, Japan, Argentina and Senegal generated $4.45 million in contracts to be accomplished in the twelve following months. In this edition of the event, Brazil will be represented by four companies - Kanechomn, Nunaat, Surya Brasil and Vita Derm - under the coordination of ABIHPEC (The Brazilian Toiletry, Perfumery and Cosmetics Association), and the support of APEX-Brasil (Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Kanechomn - Kanechomn is a Brazilian company from the cosmetics industry, which is listed under the corporations certified by the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Kanechomn is a pioneer in creating hair care creams branded under the Brazilian biodiversity. The company features a complete mix of product lines that range from hair care, body care, sun care, ethnic care, and kids' care to essential oils.

At Cosmoprof North America 2007, Kanechomn will be presenting its diversified portfolio of products featuring unique formulas and new packages and labels that add value to its products, distinguishing them with sophistication, practicality, and modernity. The company currently markets its products to 23 countries and expects to boost its exports 50% this year.

Nunaat - Nunaat is a company that offers consumers the most advanced technology for body and hair care by creating new high-quality formulas developed through advanced research with natural active ingredients from the Brazilian biodiversity. At Cosmoprof North America 2007, the company will be presenting its Nunaat Naturals line, composed of shampoo and conditioner developed with extracts from the Brazilian ecosystem such as buriti and Brazil nut.
