Cosmoprof North America announces Country Pavilions

Cosmoprof North America is the premier beauty event in North America where beauty professionals come to find new products and initiate business deals. As the playground for companies from all beauty sectors and all corners of the globe, this is the place where beauty manufacturers come to display their brands and gain a foothold in the vast and profitable American marketplace.
Through close-knit collaborations with countries seeking to expand their beauty foreign trade, Cosmoprof North America is able to dedicate special sections within the show floor to distinct Country Pavilions. Country Pavilions allow small and medium sized companies from within select markets to participate in the Cosmoprof North America event with the objective of obtaining face time with distributors and retailers to secure US distribution.
The support and council of Country Pavilion organizers allows exhibitors to take part in a trade show event in the US and obtain an understanding of this marketplace. Additionally, the presence of Country Pavilion organizers, who are representatives of foreign cosmetic industry associations on the show floor, allow US manufacturers interested in those particular markets to obtain market intelligence.
This year Cosmoprof North America will be hosting Country Pavilions from Brazil, France, Italy and Thailand:
• Brazil: Participating for the third consecutive year, the brands represented feature formulations using the incredible variety of active ingredients found in Brazil's flora, and complement their production activities by engaging in socially responsible projects while fostering environmental policies. The Brazilian market is one of the strongest in the world, with a consumption increase in 2006 of 26% compared to a global market growth of 1.2%, and reaching a rank of 3 in size worldwide, according to ABIHPEC (The Brazilian Toiletry, Perfumery and Cosmetics Association).
