R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, has named Nicholas Mann design manager for several of its brands, including Terrasoles and DF Sport.
Mr. Mann, 36, most recently was senior design manager for Reef, a San Diego-based active lifestyle and surf-inspired footwear brand. He previously held various senior design, product development or brand management roles with And 1, Stride Rite, Polo Sport and Airwalk. Mann holds a degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati.
“Nick is an award-winning footwear designer who brings to us a broad pallet of experience from the lifestyle brands arena,” said Lee F. Smith, R.G. Barry Corporation Senior Vice President Design and Product Development.
“He will immediately begin working on the next generations of our Terrasoles and DF Sport lines. We also expect to use his extensive talents on several growth initiatives currently under development, including expansion of our presence in the sandal and flip-flop businesses.”
