Saucony Inc, Lexington based athletic footwear company, is planning to launch three performance clothing collections by next spring. Company also expects to introduce lifestyle clothing with accessories in fall 2008.
Saucony, who has attracted customers with its new products and technology innovations in shoe category, is all set to offer a head to toe solution to its consumers.
The clothings for both male and female which include attires like shorts, tops, jackets and pants with technical features and fabrics are designed in-house.
The collection range is categorized like the Hurricane series is designed for elite runners, the Technical Core is for multiple-sport customers and the Tri Collection for triathletes.
Company's lifestyle line is designed mainly with organic cotton and bamboo for athletic activities to support sustainability.
Saucony, a unit of Lexington's Stride Rite Corp, accounts for about 18 percent of annual revenue with its sale of international clothing. Company officials hope to generate up to 30 to 35 percent of sales with these brands.
