Cherokee Inc, a leading licensor and global brand management company, announced that it has postponed its annual shareholders' meeting, which was previously scheduled for June 12, 2007.
The Company expects to finalize its Proxy in the coming weeks and mail out the appropriate materials for its Annual Shareholder Meeting sometime in July. As a result of the proxy statement delay, the Company would like to allow its shareholders adequate time to vote.
Therefore, it is anticipated that the shareholders' meeting will be held in late August, but no specific meeting date has been set. Cherokee expects to set its new date for its annual shareholders' meeting in the next few weeks. The Company does not expect that the delay will result in any delinquency in its SEC filing obligations.
