Blue Nile Inc announced the results of its Annual Meeting of Stockholders, held on May 22, 2007 at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle, WA.
There were present at the meeting, in person or by proxy, stockholders of the Company who were the holders of 14,597,045 shares of common stock, representing 92.91% of the 15,711,257 shares of common stock outstanding as of the record date of March 30, 2007.
Nominees for election to the Board of Directors were approved. Stockholders elected nominees Diane Irvine and Joseph Jimenez to serve on the Board of Directors until the 2010 annual meeting.
Additionally, stockholders ratified the selection by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Deloitte and Touche LLP as the independent auditors of the Company for the fiscal year ending December 30, 2007.
