R G Barry of Dearfoams bags six awards in Communicator Awards

R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, has received six awards in the 13th annual “The Communicator Awards” international competition.

Awards of distinction were presented for the Company's Spring 2007 Dearfoams print advertising campaign, Dearfoams advertorial appearing in Accessories magazine and Dearfoams National Slipper Day program and kit. Honorable mentions were given for the Company's Terrasoles tradeshow booth, Dearfoams Spring 2007 Look Book and Dearfoams POS signage.

“We are extremely honored to be the recipient of such prestigious awards,” said Karen Jacobs, director of marketing for the Dearfoams company.

“Our marketing team worked diligently to create strong campaigns with a consistent brand message. Something we are particularly proud of is our National Slipper Day program, which raises money for Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. It is great to see this new program recognized for its efforts in raising awareness of breast cancer.”

The Communicator Awards is the leading international communications arts competition recognizing creative excellence in audio, video and print media. Entries from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries are judged against industry standards of excellence rather than against each other.

As a result, a category may have multiple winners, or no winner at all. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and excellence.
