Cherokee discusses recent central european progress & marketing initiatives

Cherokee Inc a leading global licensor and brand management company announced that its Cherokee brand is experiencing rapid growth throughout the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland with Tesco Stores Ltd.

Mark Nawrocki, Senior Vice President of Cherokee Inc said, "Over the last 6 years, the Cherokee brand has experienced continued growth in over 450 Tesco Stores throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Subsequently, last year Tesco introduced the Cherokee brand to Central Europe."

The Cherokee brand is now being sold in over 260 Tesco stores throughout Central Europe and is arguably one of the fastest growing brands in this region.

We have also added China, South Korea, Thailand and Malaysia to our agreement with Tesco and look forward to working with the Tesco teams on launch strategies.

"Over the last 3 decades, Cherokee has aired award winning marketing campaigns around the world. We are pleased to share one of the most recent marketing campaigns from Tesco in Central Europe," Nawrocki continued.

"Our 'world branding' strategies are gaining momentum. In addition to our strong growth with Tesco we expect to launch in Saudi Arabia with Fawaz Al Hokair / Geant, and in Chile and Peru with Falabella over the next 12 months as well," said Howard Siegel, President of Cherokee Inc.
