Annia Hatch to show latest luxury creations in Couture Fashion Week

Olympic medalist-turned-fashion designer Annia Hatch will present her latest collection of inspired creations at Couture Fashion Week in New York City.
The highly anticipated fashion show will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 in the Garden Atrium of the elegant Westin Times Square Hotel.
Annia Hatch started gymnastics at the age of four in her native Cuba, and by the age of nine she had competed in her first international competition.
At age ten, Ms. Hatch became one of the two youngest national champions in the world, and in 1996 she became the first Latin American gymnast to medal in a world championship. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Ms. Hatch won two silver medals for her adopted country of the United States.
She has been featured in magazines such as People, Latina, Jet, Para Todos, and Gymnastics and in other news media around the world.
She has appeared on television programs including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Entertainment News, Despierta America, En Rojo Vivo, and Good Morning America.
Ms. Hatch began to pursue her love of fashion design in 1999, honing her craft and creating innovative and impeccable designs with a philosophy of glamour, power and above all beauty.
In addition to designing clothes, accessories and jewelry, Ms. Hatch has also worked as a model, stylist, consultant, and is currently working on the launch of her own cosmetic line.
Ms. Hatch also keeps her love of gymnastics very much alive through coaching and co-ownership with her husband of Star Academy Gym in West Haven, Connecticut.
