At Breakfast Club, participants were treated to a rare opportunity a hands-on experience where Tim Grover, D-Train and Mike Bibby, Team Jordan athlete, introduced young athletes to a curriculum of exercises that helped Michael Jordan reach unparalleled heights.
Grover and D-Train spearheaded the event with a special exercise curriculum focusing on Explosiveness, Strength, Performance and Conditioning. The curriculum, along with pre-built and other customized work-outs, is available free online.
In addition to the free training clinic and workout session, the participating youth (ages 12-18) had the opportunity to ask questions of Mike Bibby and the legendary trainers to learn more about the benefits of off-season training and overall physical fitness.
Breakfast Club got its name from the now famous training regime Tim Grover and Michael Jordan created after the 1989-90 basketball season a program built on rededicating Jordan to push himself beyond his known limits.
Together, Grover and Jordan created a challenging regimen designed to improve the stamina and endurance required to sustain peak performance throughout the grueling regular season and lengthy playoffs.
