This year, however, the defending US Open Champion will pay tribute to the city she loves through fashion…New York!
Sharapova, recently, unveiled the collection she will sport during this year's US Open. The line created in together with Nike senior designer Colleen Sandieson includes different patterns for day and night play.
These dresses will be adorned with graphics and motifs of New York skyscapes and skyline.
While for night play Maria will be seen in blazing Red dress studded with Swarovski crystals, for day time similar style will be seen in black and white with no bling.
She explained that the red color is to signify the beautiful city of Big Apple!
