Inditex outlet Pull & Bear & Bershka open in Prague

Spanish fashion firm Inditex Group announced that its Pull and Bear and Bershka begin their expansion in the Czech Republic with the launching of their first stores in Prague.

Both outlets will be located at Centrum Chodov shopping centre, where the third Zara store in the country will also open. Inditex operates directly its stores in the Czech Republic, a market it first entered in 2001. With these new openings, the group has five outlets in the Czech capital.

Growth in Central Europe
In addition to the Czech Republic, Bershka will also launch its first store in Poland, in Katowice. INDITEX is fostering its commercial presence in this market further to the acquisition of a control stake in the company that operates its outlets.

Central and Eastern Europe is an area of significant growth for INDITEX, who is already present in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia, with an aggregate number of 79 stores. Further to these openings, Pull and Bear is present in 23 countries with over 400 stores; meanwhile, Bershka is already present in 20 countries where it operates 350 stores.

Leading fashion distributor Inditex with eight sales formats -Zara, Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home y Kiddy's Class- boasting 2.567 stores in 59 countries. The company comprised of over one hundred companies associated with the business of textile design, manufacturing and distribution.
