Tirupur, the textile town famous for its knitwear, wants Italy to share its knowledge about the latest fashion trends in garments.
City wants Italy which is leader in design and fashion industry to help them in starting a Textile and Apparel Fashion Information Centre at NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute which has been promoted by Tirupur Exporters Association.
G Karthikeyan, Chairman of the Institute and Secretary of the Association said that they want to have in-depth knowledge about fashion, design and forecasting. It has been emphasized to put in a mechanism to exchange information on fashion trends between the Italy and Tamil Nadu.
