A design laboratory, kopenhagen Studio in Copenhagen is being set up to project Denmark as the fifth largest fashion hub in the world after London, Paris, Milan and New York.

Around 2, 000 Danish fur breeders who own world's biggest fur auction, Kopenhagen Fur have set up the Kopenhagen Studio. It goes on to show that fur is going to play significant part in fashion arena both at home and at international level.

Dansk Textil & Bekaedning has started a trend laboratory in which fashion companies and designers will look to find out the trend that is set by large trend bureaus and which is an indication of clothes, patterns and colours which are inside.

The studio is also scheduled to hold seminars and both Prada and Gucci had participated in the workshop before the opening.
