Surat's IDT to host Fashionova 2019 on June 30

For Fashionova 2019, IDT students have designed the catalogues of several renowned brands of Surat textile industry, including Laxmipati, Four Buttons, Ialichi, Madhupriya, Sitka, Aesha, Aadya, Chirag Fashion, Pure 9, and Crystal Lace. The catalogue designing is a step to bridge the gap between academics and industries—the first in history of fashion education in India, IDT said.

“Along with this, with a motive to create employment opportunities for the talented pool of the fashion industry, and catering to the needs of young entrepreneurs and designers who have a flair for the business of fashion, IDT has taken an initiative to launch Gujarat’s first-ever creative learning centre, Fashionova Designs LLP,” IDT director Anupam Goyal told Fibre2Fashion.

“Fashionova Designs LLP represents the highest tier of aspiration in Gujarat,” he added.

The team at IDT is enthusiastic that Fashionova 2019 will turn out to be thrilling, exciting and a learning affair. (RKS)
