Adidas appoints Karen Parkin to executive board

The supervisory board of Adidas AG has appointed English-born Karen Parkin to the executive board, responsible for global human resources effective from May 12, 2017. Parkin has been chief HR officer at Adidas since November 2014. She had joined the firm in 1997 as sales director for Adidas UK, where she served as head of customer service from 2000-2001.

From 2001-2004, Parkin worked as business development director for Adidas UK. She moved to Adidas America in 2004, as vice president business development, then took the responsibility for the firm’s supply chain function in 2007 as vice president supply chain North America. Parkin worked as senior vice president global supply chain, at the company's headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany and at Adidas America’s headquarters in Portland during 2013-2014.
