Lulu Kennedy, the founder and director of Fashion East, will be curating Crystal Hall and the special projects area inside Raven at the spring summer 2017 edition of the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) to be held from August 10-12, 2016.

The Crystal Hall and Raven special project at CIFF are two creative, interactive and experiential spaces featuring a selection of womenswear and menswear that will come with Kennedy's stamp of approval.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lulu as a part of the CIFF family. Her body of work speaks for itself and we are in sync with our shared goal to make CIFF even more innovative and the leading fashion fair in northern Europe. I look forward to our collaboration, “said Kristian W. Andersen, fashion and design director at CIFF.

Kennedy said, “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to collaborate with the team at CIFF. Their skills and progressive attitude are totally on point and feel relevant to the direction in which fashion is moving. The ideas are right and energy is great.”

Fashion East is a pioneering non-profit initiative established by the Old Truman Brewery in 2000 to nurture emerging young designers through the difficult early stages of their career. It receives sponsorship funding from Topshop, Topman, and The Greater London Authority. (HO)
