Thursday saw the successful close of the 17th Collection Première Moscow (5 to 8 September) – once again confirming its role as the uncontested No. 1 fair for Eastern Europe. Over 1,400 collections from 32 countries presented themselves to the 17,500 trade visitors.

On exhibition space measuring 48,000 m2 visitors were able to gain an overview of the coming 2012 Spring/Summer collections and place their orders. “The foundations have been laid for the new Fashion & Denim segment which went down well right from the start,” explained CPM Project Manager Christian Kasch. “Many were so satisfied with the quality of exhibitors that they have already confirmed their participation for the next event at the end of February 2012, wishing to join with us to extend this segment further.”

“We once again saw positive orders being placed with our exhibitors in terms of both quantity and quality. To ensure this is also the case in future we constantly track developments on the market and reflect its changes in the form of continual further developments at CPM,” said Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner at the organising firm, Igedo Company, on the last day of the fair.

The fair was rounded off by a comprehensive supporting programme. The Russian Fashion Retail Forum shone on the two days of the event with top notch lectures focusing on the “Fashion & Internet” theme. A total of 22 fashion shows plus several evening events in the event arena generated an exciting mood at Moscow's Expocentre.

The next CPM – Collection Première Moscow will be held at Moscow's Expocentre venue from 28/02 to 02/03/2012.
