French fashion house Christian Dior has released the first snaps of its Spring 2012 couture collection on its official website.
The same collection was also showcased at a fashion show in Paris, which was well-received by the audience as well as critics.
The collection includes a line inspired by Jackie-O, and also an amazing vintage-glam apparel collection reflecting Victorian style. Though there were many vintage designs, the contemporary style also formed a part of the collection.
Almost all the models who posed for the new collection during the show, wore dresses with an element of elite embroidery, mirroring the skilful craftsmanship for which the Christian Dior brand has always been popular.
The models on the runway left the audience astounded due to their flirty billows of tulle that touched the ground when they walked.
Christian Dior's Jackie-O and A-line dresses as well as pencil skirts continue to be preferred picks for summer over the years.
