Lifestyle brand adidas to acquire local JV partner

Adidas had been focusing on bringing synergy in sales and marketing apart from enhancing its distribution network in the country. According to reports, it is also in process of strengthening its sourcing plans through a new plant in Chennai, which is being set up by a licensee. Adidas generates sales of approximately Rs 130 crore in India.
