As the world’s biggest online retailer, Amazon.com, intends to focus on a new, upgraded apparel and accessories section of its main website, it has decided to shift its standalone fashion website endless.com to its main website amazon.com, an Amazon spokesperson said.

Mainly specializing in women’s handbags and shoes, endless.com was launched in 2007.

According to a statement on the main page of endless.com, the integration would be done on September 27.

The statement says, next week onwards endless.com customers could chose shoes, jewellery, handbags, watches and apparels from a wider range of assortments from amazon.com.

Noting that EBay, Amazon’s biggest competitor, has done well in the fashion space in recent years, Amazon spokesperson said the endless.com shift forms a part of Amazon’s major push this year to further expand into fashion and apparel space, one of the fastest-growing online retail categories.

However, the company is not touching its other two fashion websites – Zappos and Shopbop, he said and added that Amazon also owns a successful flash sales website – MYHABIT, mainly focusing on fashion items.

Offering a wide-range of quality brands, Amazon, Shopbop and Zappos, offer customers an extensive shopping experience to cater to all their fashion needs.
