Cute and vivacious Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra walked the ramp for the ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra on day 2 at the ongoing fashion extravaganza ‘Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) 2012.

Parineeti walked in a beautiful navy blue and tomato red ensemble teamed with a heavily embellished dupatta from the designer’s latest ‘Mijwan’ collection created by the girls of Mijwan village, located in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Malhotra’s apparel line highlights the traditional yet popular Chikankari embroidery work on a variety of outfits for both men and women.

The collection includes coats, kurtas, sherwanis, lehangas, long jackets, cholis, farsi pants and anarkalis in earthy shades like ivory, brunt orange, red and pink.

The 47-year-old designer commands a huge fan following of popular Bollywood actresses like Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Preity Zinta and Karisma Kapoor.

The girls of Mijwan village are supported by an NGO named Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS), run by the veteran Hindi film actress and social activist Shabana Azmi.
