Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association informed that Marcelo Sommer presented winter 2006 collection at São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW).

With drama in the scenography and special effects (rain and thunder), stylist Marcelo Sommer finished the 20th edition of the São Paulo Fashion Week, which also was the 10th year anniversary of the designer's fashion trajectory.

The idea is to provide emotion and chaos, just like in the universe of Tim Burton movies.

With this scenario, the tones of gray dominated the color chart. Dresses and balloon skirts are the collection's main items.

The collection also suggests Bermuda shorts, pants and shirts. With the prints, it is now plaid's turn, plenty of plaid, in varied sizes. Sommer used velvet, wool, nylon, moleton, knit work and knits.

ABIT is the representative organization of the Brazilian textile and apparel industry, participates actively in the evolution of the textile sector.
