The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), in a prelude to its 21st edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) commencing on March 13, 2013, is organising “Fash- Talk”,  a first of its kind Twitter Party.

Fash-Talk to be held on March 11 at 3:30-4:15 pm is an opportunity for all social media-savvy fashionistas to interact live, with supermodels Nethra Raghuraman and Fleur Xavier, on Twitter and discuss the latest edition of WIFW A/W’13---newest fashion trends, designers, backstage action, modelling and lots more.

"Our plan for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Autumn-Winter 13 is to make this event accessible to everyone who is passionate about fashion. A fashion event of this magnitude owes it to its followers around the world. I invite all the stakeholders of the fashion industry---designers, buyers, models, bloggers, media, students, etc. to join us, in this celebration of Indian creativity in the world of fashion, on Twitter," said Mr Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI.

"We are super excited about the FDCI's concept of bringing together the community that's bounded by a common interest-fashion and beauty, in a Twitter Party format. As little red tote, Fleur and I are both active on social media. No matter where in the world you are, you can join the party by simply tweeting using the hashtag #WIFW, and we'd be all ears," commented Nethra.

Twitter parties are fast and fun virtual gatherings, using the twitter platform, and are a wonderful way for people to connect and discuss a topic of their choice. Participants at the Fash-Talk Twitter Party will login at the designated time and tweet including the Hashtag #WIFW during the party. Hosts Nethra and Fleur will monitor the hashtag and keep the conversation alive by tweeting from their Handle @littletotbag. Participants will also be able to follow tweets from Nethra and Fleur, and the FDCI by following handles @littletotebag and @theFDCI respectively.

Fashion Design Council of India: A non-profit organization, the FDCI is the apex fashion council of India. Represented by over 300 designers, the FDCI takes Indian fashion global by promoting the 'business of fashion'.
