As the night creeps in and the sky darkens. They emerge_ the Alpana Neeraj FW 13 collection is a fairytale of Goth, glamour and gloss rendered with a wild intensity, the garments breathe dark style with an occasional splash of vagabond culture.

Scaly Slimy Glossy, majestic and mysterious_ fashion and fantasy collide as serpentine scaled jackets fuse with layers of dark volumes to create unusual pieces that are precisely constructed and not easily categorized. Interplay of decoration and form come to life in consciously structured dresses that accentuate the austere silhouette while a touch of neon underlines the contemporary approach.

Prints resembling pythons barely visible in the dark adorn racy shapes and revealing décolletages. Serpentine gowns and second skin corsets pronounce the marriage of the spirit of couture and the energy of sportswear. The shapes signify grown up 00th... Kept lean and dark they are interspersed with transparencies capturing movement and light? Linear metallic embellishments lend a bohemia and undercurrent to otherwise constructed colonialist ensembles.

Colors span the entire range from bone to black, batwing grey to night sky blues, and wines to forest greens. Flashes of neons add a jolt of color, an electric flash in sombre darkness fabrics are cut into hundreds of pieces and layered to resemble python’s scales. Gracefully slithering with the movement of the body jerseys, tulles. Organzas and silks are whipped in voraciously to create new proportions and lengths. Bejewelled leather gloves add in a bohemian spirit as carefree as the creatures of the night a dash of glamour is added with a range of clutches designed by wi to complement the collection beautifully.
