Fenatec exhibitors to present latest novelties for 2007

Fenatec (International Textile Trade Fair) will be held March 6-9, 2006 at Parque Anhembi Av. Olavo Fontoura, 1209 Santana, São Paulo. Back again to its traditional venue, Anhembi, occupying the West Pavilion, Fenatec – International Textile Trade Fair will open with renowned and expressive exhibitors of the Brazilian textile industry, presenting novelties that the fashion world will use during the 2007 summer season.

Rosset, Swarovski, Santista Têxtil, Chartex, Martes, Affiniti Berlan, Bogitex, Salotex, Cedro, Canatiba, Covolan, SayoaArt, Doutex, Santanense, Horizonte Têxtil, Rhodia and Invista (with the LYCRA trade mark), are some of the companies on stage. At present, 50 exhibitors have already confirmed their presence, an increase of 40 percent, when compared with the previous event.

In 2005, Alcantara Machado gave Fenatec a new format, when the event received 14 thousand Brazilian and over 600 international buyers. In accordance with ABIT – Brazilian Association of the Textile and Garment Manufacturing Industry, Brazil has, today, 30 thousand garment manufacturers.

During Fenatec 2006, the following activities will take place:

- Fenatec-Summer 2007 Colour Forum – a partnership between Alcantara Machado and Pantone, this event will be of great interest for the textile industry. Coordinated by LexusStudio, a lounge will present a palette of 56 colours, all researched in Brazil and monitored by Pantone, in line with the latest fashion trends.
