Sports shoe maker The Athlete's Foot, has launched its first outlet in India at Bangalore in partnership with Planet Sports.
The store brings home the concept of 'specialty sports shoe store' offering a range of renowned international sports brands and footwear.
Brands like Adidas, Nike, Puma and Reebok will make it on their shelves.
Other products will include converse footwear, speedo swimwear and their respective apparel and accessories as well as different game accessories.
However, the major attraction is the 'fitprint system' that provides a customer a fact analysis of his feet and the kind of footwear best suited for him or her.
Jim Boinest, Director, Asia Pacific Development, believes India to be a promising market and revealed plans to open stores in Delhi and Mumbai, as well.
The Athlete's Foot, first launched in 1971 in the US, and is today recognized as the world leader in athletic footwear franchising.
