BCFW - Project SNO & SUN to prop up sport fashion

Project SNO 2006 will also host a website with an overview of the project, including photography and extra features from the location shooting, as well as being featured in a multi-page editorial within the official program guide for BC Fashion Week.

An offsite fashion show included in the schedule during BC Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2006, presenting the diversity and trendsetting nature of snowboard and ski wear available in Vancouver, will be open to the public. On Thursday, April 6th, a winter outerwear fashion show will be hosted by Ayden Gallery, showcasing what will be hot on the slopes for Fall/Winter 2006.

“Project SNO 2006” allows the viewer the opportunity to come along for the ride and thoroughly explore the world of fashion on the slopes,” enthused Chrystale Thompson, Creative Director for Ecstatic Designs. “This project takes the audience on an exciting journey to some of Canada's trendiest winter fashions and style,” she said.

Project SUN is the second phase of the showcases and will be presented during BC Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2007, focusing on trendy active wear for Spring/Summer sports. Further details about this event will be announced during in the upcoming months.

BC Fashion Week (BCFW) is a high profile event aimed at establishing Vancouver as an emerging fashion centre and a true partner in the global fashion world, along with centres such as Milan, Paris, London, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Montreal and Sydney.
