Companies should strongly consider setting up appointments on your own while in Chicago. The educational seminar will cover topics such as industry trends; customs and regulations; managing rep agreements; working with local reps, buyers, and agents. In fact, some of the best reps will speak.
The Consulate General has taken the liberty of reserving a block of rooms for three nights (March 30, 31, and April 1st) for mission participants. Each participant will be asked to pay their own hotel costs. Each participant is responsible for their hotel, transportation, food and incidental costs. We will give the hotel information to you, so you can directly book your room, once you have been accepted into the trade mission.
We will make special arrangements with Air Canada to provide participants a discount airfare.
The Canadian Consulate General in Chicago will cover the full cost of the shared booth space at the PRE-SHOW event on Friday, March 31st. We will also cover show admission, and Friday's educational session. For all of the above, we ask that each participant pay only $100 USD.
