Bollywood star, Amrita Rao inaugurated the D'damas diamond and gold jewellery's 14th outlet in newly renovated Ulhas Jewellers showroom in Margao this evening.
Power Minister, Digamber Kamat inaugurated the renovated showroom earlier in the day.
Vishal Acharya and Vikram Verlekar revealed that D'damas was one of the most celebrated brands of diamond and gold jewellery in our country.
They assured that the latest collection of D'damas would complement the natural beauty of the Goan people and being a tourists' paradise, will also help the brand reach out to a wider audience across the globe.
Amrita Rao said she will be wearing a D'damas diamond ring in her forthcoming film.
D'damas is a joint venture between Gemplus Jewellery Ltd, a part of the Gitanjali group, and Damas, the West Asia-based jewellery retail chain.
It has several diamond jewellery brands in its portfolio including the IIFA Glitterati range, endorsed by Suniel Shetty, Mahima Choudhry, Simran, Akshay Kumar and Celina Jaitley and Solitaire collection, endorsed by Amitabh Bachchan.
