In the case of Odin, this device will facilitate product and price files to be sent to House of Fraser and sales data to be sent back to Odin and its parent company. Retail Assist will carry on working with Odin as they move about for their planned 25 franchises.

It will also offer systems support for the opening of PO.P's first lone store, in West London. Furthermore, the dealer has been awarded a 2-year support treaty to provide polling and database support.

The new interfaces cover a number of processes and comprise the staging post between RnB and House of Fraser systems. Data received from RnB is firstly transformed into a product database by Retail Assist, ensuring that it complies with House of Fraser's distinct values for arrangement and content when loaded onto their systems.

As all outfits are shipped and stored directly from Sweden to the concessionaires, accompanying price data requires exchange from Krona into Pounds Sterling and Euros for ticketing and pricing information on House of Fraser's EPoS systems. The new systems enable merchandising data to be captured accrodingly.

This method records the input of products, ensures that they are traded at the correct prices and shows ticker tape daily replacement requirements.

All data and transaction processing is based upon an Odin Retail server which is hosted and managed by Retail Assist at their Northampton Data Centre.

The project has been characterized by rapidity to market.
