British fashion model David Gandy is all set to foray into the world of clothing design with UK retailer Marks and Spencer.

The 34-year-old, who is also the current face of the fashion purveyor, is gearing up to create a men’s sleepwear and innerwear range for the brand’s celebrity endorsed Autograph line.

According to vogue.co.uk, the collection, which will include boxers and briefs, will be made from quality fabrics with an unwavering attention to design, fit and style.

The 28-piece range will be launched on September 18, 2014 and will be available for sale in over 250 brick-and-mortar stores worldwide, as well as online.

Other than designing the pieces, the Essex-born model, who has appeared in advertisements for brands like Dolce and Gabbana, will also front the accompanying campaign of his line.

Apart from Gandy, the Autograph line also features a lingerie range, titled Rosie for Autograph, from the English model and actress Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley.

Founded in 1884, Marks and Spencer plc specializes in a range of clothing and other luxury products. It operates through a chain of nearly 703 stores in the United Kingdom and 361 stores spread across more than 40 countries.
