Multi-brand footwear maker Phoenix Footwear Group Inc has accepted the resignation of President and Chief Executive Officer, Rick White.
White is departing to pursue entrepreneurial interests, but has agreed to consult with Phoenix Footwear during a leadership transition period.
White stated, "I am proud of our accomplishments and leave behind an excellent team. I shall miss them, but departing now gives me the chance to pursue some opportunities I would not have again in the future."
Jim Riedman, Chairman, will assume the additional duties of CEO. The board intends to initiate a search for a new CEO in the months ahead.
Riedman noted, "We thank Rick for his many contributions over the past few years."
