Koutans, one of India's leading menswear brand, plans to enter into ladies wear segment as part of its expansion strategy.
It has already introduced 'Koutans-Les-Fem' wear for ladies on an expermimental basis at a few stores in the country, Koutans Senior Vice President H S Sidhu clarified today at the opening of 225th showroom of the company in the city.
This is Koutans' seventh showroom in and around Chandigarh.
''We will enter the market with a full range of ladies wear soon,'' he said, while talking to media persons.
The company will also enter kids wear section, in a couple of year's time, he added.
He informed that, company's 226th showroom is slated to be opened at Hyderabad, making its maiden foray into south.
Koutans which debuted in 1991 as Charlie Creations is perceived as a rapidly growing brand, Sidhu said. Its range of products and designs can fulfill any man's wardrobe requirements, he elaborated.
He informed that there has been a three-fold increase in company's stores during last two years.
Company's sales turnover stood at Rs 165 crore in the last fiscal and the target this year has been fixed at Rs 450 to Rs 500 crore, he added.
Sidhu claimed that Koutans was the largest seller of menswear in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh.
