Soles4Souls starts distribution center in West Coast

Soles4Souls Inc, the new non-profit footwear donation company, announced that it will have a West Coast presence beginning May 21, complete with a distribution center ready to accept donations.
"The response to our mission of making a difference in people's lives with the gift of shoes has been well received by the footwear industry, retailers, churches and others all across the country," said Paul Wilson, President and General Manager.
"To help minimize expenses for our West Coast donors, we have secured a facility in Las Vegas to reduce freight costs as opposed to shipping to our main distribution center in Wadley, Alabama."
Soles4Souls Inc was founded by long-term footwear executive Wayne Elsey. Wayne is the president of Kodiak-Terra USA, Inc., based in Portland, Tennessee.
In 2005, Wayne and a team of volunteers collected, distributed and managed over 1 million pairs of shoes for both the Asian Tsunami and Katrina disasters.
