Toni Browning, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parisian, commented, "We are eager to unveil our spectacular Parisian store next fall. We believe that this location will be quite unlike a typical department store and will incorporate numerous innovative design elements, making it the most exciting shopping destination in the entire state and among the top in the Southeast.

We look forward to introducing this community to the great brands, fashion authority, and outstanding service for which we are so well known."

Construction on the location is expected to begin in fall 2006. The Parisian store will employ approximately 150 associates. Jackson is the state capital and the largest city in the State of Mississippi.

Situated on 57 acres at the intersection of I-55 and Old Agency Road in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Renaissance at Colony Park will include approximately 650,000 square feet of space. The development is expected to house more than sixty retail stores and several restaurants. Renaissance at Colony Park is a joint venture of Mattiace Properties, Inc. and H.C. Bailey Companies.

In addition to Parisian, Saks Incorporated operates Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises (SFAE), which consists of 54 Saks Fifth Avenue stores, 50 Saks Off 5th stores, and saks.com. The Company also operates 60 Club Libby Lu specialty stores. In January 2006, the Company announced it is exploring strategic alternatives for Parisian.
