Sachin to remain adidas brand ambassador post retirement too!

adidas, sports goods, footwear, apparel and accessories major has decided to rope Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador even after he retires from active cricket.
"We would want to be with Sachin, whether he is playing or no," says Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, adidas India Marketing Private Limited.
Sachin has been adidas' brand ambassador for past six years and has been signed on for four more years, informed Gellner.
Sachin's all time great cricketing exloits have bestowed upon him an iconic status which would help adidas promote its youth program.
The program entails sponsoring under-16 football tournament in cities across of the country by adidas.
